Amanah Elizabeth Triggs – Artistic Director, Actor, Producer, Teacher
stage name: Elizabeth Connor
Amanah Elizabeth began her acting career in theatre, film & tv in England at the age of 16. Trained also in dance & singing, she has enjoyed a successful career in UK, South Africa and Canada. Her love of the Arts has embraced Directing theatre performance and Producing Visual Art Exhibits. She conducts workshops: “Colour in Film Storytelling” and “Science of Colour”, contributes ideas for Film stories and coaches privately.
Daryl Fretz – Principal Teacher
Daryl is Principal Teacher for all Dramaworks’ classes, having taught alongside the Director since 2014. Her love of working with young students, knowledge and vitality are at the core of our programs. Daryl trained in the Capilano University’s Acting for Stage & Screen Program and has experience working with Arts Umbrella and other musical theatre troupes.
Caitlin Hill – Teacher
A recent graduate of the UBC opera program, Caitlin performs in musical theater and dance. She shares her love of theatre with students to develop a lifelong appreciation of the arts.
Laurin Kaardal – Teacher
Laurin, for the last five years, has been teaching children the joy of theatre, music and movement. With a Bachelor of Honours in drama from England, and experience performing on both stage and screen in Canada, she looks forward to sharing her passion for these arts with our young students.
